And while we're giving out love, we want to hand some out to the people that have given us some 200+ llama badges, the 2000+ page views, and the plethora of kind comments we've received this past June! We wholeheartedly appreciate the encouragement from the outreaches of the dA community.

Now, on to a more stern note, we would like to bring-up an issue that has been irksome since we first joined the community. We would LOVE to read your opinions/comments on this! We feel, and we know that there are many people with the same opinion, that people are abusing deviantART. We're not trying to dis anyone particular at all: If you call something art, then by all means it is. But if you're just posting something that took ten seconds to do, a blurry picture you took, something that didn't require much effort or thought at all, something that if it got destroyed you would not give a damn, please don't. This is not Flickr by any means. It's a community where you share art; you seek artistic opinions and you give them equally; and where you are proud of your gallery on here, whether a growing novice or a studious art major. It's where you share things you care about. We put hours and a lot of thought into everything in our gallery, and it's a little disheartening to come across things on here that are "just because i felt like it XD XD XD."
